President's day

We are learning all about presidents this week.... We learned all about George Washington & Abraham Lincoln but they can really relate to presidents they know. We are making President Obama tomorrow.

My daughter goes to a French school & they always have the most beautiful, child centered art activities. Here is one from the kindergarten classes. I love it... So simple!

So here's my two boards from my room... Had a change from 1st to K so I just threw the old faithful Chicka Chicka Boom Boom board up... The other one is going to say "Wild About Birthdays!".

Mostly I'm trying to upload pictures... But here's a super cute math activity. I have tons of left over frog notepads so I glued a bug to the tongue & the kiddos were supposed to measure the the tongue.

Yay, I have a blog! Now what?

I am so excited to start my blog!  Now I have to fancy it up!  Well let me just say that I love teaching and have taught kindergarten for twelve years!  This year I am teaching first grade.  I am nervous and excited.  I just want to do a great job!   Hopefully you will come back to see all of the fun and amazing learning that will take place!
